You can thank the multi-million dollar Wisconsin Tavern League lobbyists for this BS "competition clause." While this was in my March 2018 newsletter that went out last week, I understand some of you haven't signed up or unsubscribed--however, this is important.

This law, if passed, will restrict any place the public rents where alcohol is consumed (not purchased) including barns, parks, etc. It states the LOCATION must have a liquor license, and it won't matter if the caterer has one OR, you the client purchase it for an open bar (no money changing hands for the event.)

THIS LAW HAS THE ABILITY TO PUT ME, BARNS and BUSINESSES LIKE OUR OUT OF BUSINESSAs a reminder and example, a liquor license RESERVE in Madison WI is now $10K...

Wedding barns and I are contacting WI Senators and calling BS on this bill. Wedding barns are in no way in competition with the bars here.

 FYI

OPPOSE AB 433!
